After our big day in the Adelaide hills yesterday, it was lovely to sleep in this morning, and have no set agenda for the day. The temperature soared to 40 degrees so we stayed indoors and enjoyed a relaxing morning in air conditioned comfort. Later Bruce, Fletcher and I headed to the shops for some Christmas shopping.
We had loads of fun, and Fletcher has already declared it "the best Christmas EVER!"
We spent the rest of the day cooking. Jack cooked Mum's Custard Cake, Jarrah cooked Lyndy's Icky Sticky Pudding and I cooked Janine's Tomato Bake.
We had thought about heading into the Barossa Valley for the local Christmas Pageant but by the end of the day we were just too comfortable to leave the house. Instead we got into the Christmas spirit by staying in and watching Jarrah's early birthday present from Julie - Grumpy Cat's Christmas.
Jack's finger continues to swell and blacken.
Note: When I looked up the Barossa Valley Christmas Pageant, look what I found!

Patsy Biscoe, Tanunda Town Committee Co-Chair
It's really her! Australia's original children's entertainer and my childhood idol! Famous for her regular appearances on “Fat Cat & Friends” and “Here’s Humphrey”, Patsy now resides in the Barossa Valley region where she is highly involved with her local community. Patsy brought, and continues to bring, so much fun and love to our family Christmases! Love you Patsy!
