Today was our first day of rain since leaving Keysbrook and that seemed to keep numbers down at the markets. Nevertheless, Bruce was kept busy with customers, while me and the boys were kept busy ferrying sustenance to him from the caravan (which was only a short bike ride away). At one point I got back to the caravan to find the following note written on a serviette...
Unfortunately, I'm afraid I might have spent more at the markets than Bruce earned. They had some great local arts & crafts and fresh locally grown fruit and vegies, including the cutest little bananas I'd ever seen!
Jarrah and Fletcher were pretty happy with getting jam donuts for breakfast, and Jack was over the moon to find the final two Harry Potter books (in hard cover) for just $4 each.
He started reading The Philosopher's Stone (book 1) soon after we left home, and he is now half way through The Goblet of Fire (book 4). That's good going for an almost nine year old. Well done Jack!
