Queen Victoria Markets

The weather wasn't any kinder to us today, so we again spent the morning inside watching the constant drizzle.  At 11am the sun peeped through, so we made a run for it.  Back to Montague Tram Stop for another ride into the city.  Destination Queen Victoria Markets.

Donuts were good!

Not so keen on the beef tongue!

Olives got the thumbs up!

Amaze-ball lolly pops!

Fashion guru Fletch couldn't decide between hats...

...or shoes?

A fun day was had by all, but before we knew it the time had come to head for home once more.  Armed with our purchases of mozzarella cheese, crusty Italian bread, farm fresh eggs and fresh field mushrooms, new shoes x 2, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, a kangaroo skin rug and a bunch of gifts for folk at home, we staggered back to the train station.

We finished the day with Darryl cooking up an impressive Spanish paella and the boys inducting him into the world of Harry Potter with a family viewing of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
