In Kununurra there were more friends to be made and more relaxing to be done.
It's really hot here - 35 degrees+, so we made the most of the pool. It! is bizarre how early it gets dark here. We picked up some supplies and when we walked out of Coles at 5.10pm it was pitch black outside! Freaky!
We enjoyed some live music by Moose On The Loose on the banks of Lake Kununurra on Friday evening. We were treated to the evening flight of millions of bats at sunset. I'm not sure this photo does them justice!
We were also treated to Fletcher's first live public performance. Moose on the Loose mentioned that he had a second mike and welcomed any singers up to share the stage with him. Before we knew it, there was Fletch, doing a Wiggles duo with Moose on the Loose! (I think he might have got a taste of performing in public at the YBMB!)
We did have a giggle thinking that had Bruce got up on stage it would have been Moose on the Loose with Bruce the Masseuse! he he he
On Monday it was time to hit the road once again. Of course we needed to make a toilet stop before we even got out of town! But the boys were impressed with this road house - it even had a Donut King! Who would have thought?
What's with the mismatched shoes? Haha. Love you guys xxx
